Emergency Assist 991’s first aid level 1-3 courses are designed to equip laypersons with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a difference in an emergency situation. Maximizing survival from the devastating effects of sudden illness or injury depends on awareness amongst the general public for the importance of knowing first aid. Everyone should know the practical measures to take if an individual collapses before the arrival of the emergency services.

Our courses are intended to provide basic knowledge and skills necessary to identify and treat those traumatized and suddenly ill patients who require rapid assessment, resuscitation and stabilization of their injuries or illness. Our courses provide material by lectures and practical skill stations that represent an acceptable method of management for trauma and medical emergencies. They provide a very basic foundation on which first aiders can build the necessary knowledge and skills for trauma and medical management with minimal equipment.
